My darling sweet son has refused to eat food for the last month and a half. He is just not ready to eat and will spit out anything you dare to feed him. Yesterday, for example, he spit out carrot, squash, and apple puree at me. Two days ago he spit sweet potato at me. And yes, before you ask, I hand make his food so I know it tastes good. I'm careful to puree it so that he doesn't choke before he learns to chew.
Today he ate an olive out of my salad after grabbing my fork.
Maybe he's not a puree kind of guy? Anyone ever run into this kind of problem? Honestly, I think he's just plotting to make me crazy.
In other news... he has a best friend in the whole wide world. Snoopy!
You cannot take my Snoopy!
He'll hug on Snoopy for hours. He wakes up in the morning, grabs the Snoopy, holds him by the ears, and talks at him. It's adorible. Best five dollars we ever spent.
It's also rather bittersweet because my husband's grandfather recently passed and Snoopy was something he loved. I wish he could have seen this. He loved our child so very much and he would have been very amused at the Snoopy love.
