Traditionally, mother's day was not my favorite holiday. My own family is long gone and until recently I had no reason to celebrate. However, before I bombard you all with the cuteness that is my Poet..
My mother in law and grandmother in law, Joanne and Ann, have been wonderful. They love my son so very much and they have been willing to do anything to help. My husband's family are good people and I am grateful for everything that they do. His grandmother bought the crib my son sleeps in because she wanted him to have the best and most comfortable option possible. His grandmother is the ultimate baby whisperer, she can get him to sleep when no one else could. His mother is willing to watch Poet with practically no notice and she has gone out of her way to provide anything she could for him.
I know that many people are not as lucky in their in-laws as I am and I just wanted to say... thank you. If you are reading these words - thank you. Thank you for all you do.
And now onto the cuteness!
Oh wait! What's that over there?
Taking a nap on Daddy
And that sums up mother's day, pretty much. It wasn't restful but it was full of joy.
